Compostables help keep contamination out of the recycling stream, reduce and store greenhouse gas emissions, and help to create healthier and more productive agricultural soils.

To achieve their full potential, compostables must be composted. We have set up and continue to develop a cross-Canada network of partners comprised of producers of compostable products, drop-off points for soiled compostables, as well those who transport and compost them correctly.
